Grocery Deals

Okay, so for as long as I can remember (well since I began blogging) I have been so jealous at all of those people that were able to figure out how to save so much money with coupons at grocery stores. Well, since I have had NOTHING to do and have been beyond bored lately, I decided to sit down and figure it out. I follow Leslie Lambert's blog and she always posts really good things. I have been following her blog and she recently posted some tips on how to save with coupons. Well I studied them, and then checked her blog today and sure enough, there was the savings post! So, I decided to write down all of the things that she bought and printed some coupons and off to Publix I went! I am so glad that I did because I got ALL of this

for........ $9.84 pre tax!! After tax it was only $11.40 I saved a grand total of $24.78! That's CRAZY! Let me try to break it down for you. Now keep in mind, this was at Publix because they have really good sales and b1g1 every week. If you do not have a Publix, you can try to use this at other places like Winn-Dixie (I think they have a good b1g1 too)

All detergent:
Normally $5.99 each. I bought two which would have normally been $12. On sale for B1G1. Had two $1 off 1 coupons making it $4 for 2 bottles! Can't beat that!

Mueller pasta:
Normally $1.49 each. I bought six boxes which would have normally been $9. On sale for B1G1. Had two $1 off 3 coupons making this $2.50 for SIX boxes of pasta!! (can you tell I'm excited?)

Kellogg's Cereal:
Normally $4.09 each. I bought two boxes which would have normally been $8.18. On sale for B1G1. Had one $1.50 off 2 making this $2.49 for two boxes of Kellogg's cereal!

Lance toasty crackers:
Normally $2.89. I bought two boxes which would have normally been $5.78. On sale for B1G1. Had two $1 off 1 coupons making this $0.89 for two boxes! 89 cents for two boxes!

I had also planned on buying some Uncle Ben's rice and they were all out so I'll have to go back later this week. So, needless to say, I'm addicted to coupon shopping now! I got ALL of that stuff for $11.40 with tax out the door! I'm so excited! Hopefully you have a Publix in your area, and if you don't well hopefully you can find a way to make this work. Imagine all the money you would save! Hopefully I'll have another good post next week!!
